The Meaghan Clark
Memorial Scholarship Fund

We are extremely pleased to offer you the opportunity to apply, and to be able to
provide you financial support in your educational endeavors. This scholarship will be
given in honor and memory of Meaghan E. Clark, a student of Topsail High School whose
love of music will transpire in those whose lives have been touched by music and
extracurricular activities associated with the THS Music Department.

This Scholarship Foundation will award one (or multiple) student(s) who demonstrates
the dedication to the music program of THS along with the moral force of character
and leadership. The recipient(s) of this scholarship will be a student who embodies
dedication, integrity, and who seeks to further their education. Selections are based
on dedication to the THS Music programs, merit and how powerfully the applicant
exemplifies these qualities in their essay.

Caitlyn Demetrious and Hannah Griffin were the
recipient
s of the 2012 scholarship award.  
     In addition to h
er many outstanding
accomplishments and accolades, Caitlyn was a
member of the Topsail High School Symphonic Band
and Jazz Band
as well as this year's Drum Major for
the THS Marching Pirates.
 She will be attending
UNC Chapel Hill in NC to pursue a degree in medicine,
specializing in neuroradiology.
       Hannah was an excellent student who led by
example both in and out of the classroom.  She was a
member of the Marching Pirates Color Guard and the
THS Winter Guard where her talent enhanced the
beauty that is present in music.  She will be
attending UNC Wilmington in NC to pursue a degree
to become a pharmacist.

DEADLINE: All applications must be submitted by Sunday, May 15, 2012 to be
considered.

 REQUIREMENTS: In order to be considered for this scholarship you must:
  1. Be a graduating senior at Topsail High School in Hampstead, North
    Carolina
  2. Be accepted to an accredited college or university
  3. Have been enrolled at Topsail High School for the entirety of your
    senior year
  4. Have participated in at least one semester of a THS Music program
    each year as a student of Topsail High School
